在义乌老城区，一口始于东晋的古井静卧街角，见证了城市的商贸记忆。七月合作社以此为起点，在设计中着重保留和重塑这一历史遗存，让古井在当代重获新的生命，也回应当代居民对高品质文化休闲空间的需求。 设计以古井为核心，在T字轴北端营造出向心广场，入口空间由开放渐收窄，形成兼具商业活力与历史厚度的场所。古井虽已失去实用功能，却以重塑的形态和呼应的肌理，继续讲述城市文脉。设计师保留并重构历史构件，以砖纹金属围栏、粗粹石块与水景，唤起对古城的记忆。 从高处俯瞰，环井石组仿若巨石裂开，自然向心散布，映射出地质与时间的仪式感。弧线水面折射光影，古朴与现代交织，石、水、光、风与树影共同构建纯粹而富有参与感的体验。
In Yiwu’s old town, an Eastern Jin Dynasty well becomes the focal point of a renewal project by July & Partners. Preserved and reinterpreted, the well anchors a new plaza that balances commercial vibrancy with cultural depth. Stone groupings, textured railings, and reflective water surfaces evoke the memory of the historic city, while light, shadow, and greenery create a dialogue between past and present. The site now serves as both a lively urban gateway and a cultural landmark.
