1938年的Lawry 's The Prime Rib于上海开设了首家分店,RooMoo以设计融合其传统经典与现代美学。品牌以慢烤牛排和银色餐车的桌边服务而闻名,设计重现美国餐厅高档氛围,保留传统优雅并融入现代元素,吸引上海顾客。 RooMoo 转化慢烤牛排意象,呈现于香槟黄铜制成的曲线金属拱门中,形成隧道效果,增强了餐车在空间中穿梭的视觉,强调迷人、沉浸式的用餐氛围,表现烹饪艺术的服务。为突出80年历史,设计融入象征时间流逝的鹤嘴锄元素,代表农业与建筑的时代变迁,将图案融入空间,如悬挂设计和中心结构,以传承融入氛围。 “金属拱门”的灵感来自鹤嘴锄,既为视觉焦点亦为历史标记,丰富Lawry 's的品牌意义。RooMoo成功连接传统与现代,提供独特的用餐体验,并致敬品牌的传奇历史。
Established in 1938, Lawry’s The Prime Rib has expanded to China with its inaugural venue in Shanghai. RooMoo Design Studio was tasked with crafting the interior to harmonize timeless sophistication with contemporary appeal. Known for its celebrated prime ribs and table-side service featuring gleaming silver carts, Lawry’s aimed to recreate the upscale atmosphere of its American locations. The challenge was to preserve classic elegance while integrating modern design elements that would resonate with Shanghai’s discerning clientele. RooMoo sought to elevate the steakhouse experience through a thoughtful design approach centered around a striking display of prime ribs within the restaurant. These ribs are artfully showcased amid curved metal arches, finished in champagne brass, creating a tunnel-like structure. This design not only emphasizes the visual appeal of the prime ribs but also enhances the journey of the iconic silver cart through the space. By focusing on these elements, RooMoo aims to create a captivating and immersive dining atmosphere that celebrates both culinary excellence and aesthetic elegance. To highlight the venue’s 80-year history, the design incorporates elements symbolizing the passage of time, notably the pickaxe. This represents both farming and construction, illustrating the progression of time through different eras. This pickaxe motif is woven into various components of the space, such as the suspension design and the central structure in the middle of the room, subtly weaving the brand’s heritage and history into the ambiance. The main structural elements, composed of ‘metal arches,’ feature details inspired by pickaxes. These elements serve not only as visual highlights but also as historical markers, enhancing the rich narrative of Lawry’s legacy. By integrating these thoughtful design elements, RooMoo successfully bridges the gap between tradition and modernity, offering a unique dining experience that pays homage to Lawry’s storied history.
